Review - Summary

Doyles Room is a fast growing poker room, managed by poker legends Doyle Brunson and Mike Caro. In a special campaign you get Doyles Super/System 2, the long-awaited follow-up to the 'poker bible' Super/System. Doyles Room shares its technology and player base with the large Tribeca Table network (Victor Chandler Poker, etc). Doyles Room is one of the very few rooms in the network, which is open for US players. The software has a nice interface and offers good playability. Currently, Holdem and Omaha games are accommodated, but within shortly seven-card stud Hi and Hi-Lo will be added. There are both single- and multi-table tournaments. The tournaments actually have the highest traffic in this poker room, with lots of good value free rolls. Real money player statistics - Oct, 2006: 2,000-2,850 ring game players at peak hours, 8,500-12,500 tournament players at peak hours.

Reviews - Software

Doyles Room software is developed by Tribeca Tables, with nice graphics and good functionality. On the positive side, there are features like; buddy list function, private tables, pot- and no-limit ring games, live floor managers, overall nice graphics and multi-table tournaments. However, there are some let downs; lobby information does not include view flop percentage and almost only games in Texas Holdem.

Review - Graphics

The Doyles Room network currently has 2,000-2,850 ring game players at peak hours (Oct, 2006).

Review - Tourn Trafic

AbsolutePoker has tournament traffic of 6,500-8,000 real money players during peak hours (Oct, 2006).

Reviews - Game Variety

The game variety at Doyles Room is good, with Holdem, 7-Card Stud, Omaha Hi-Lo and High (all available in both limit, pot-limit and Holdem in no-limit as well), also a game called Badugi (a triple draw game where a four card low-hand wins) is offered. Table stakes are from $0.02/$0.04 to $50/$100. There are both single- and multi-table tournaments. Within shortly seven-card stud High and Hi-Lo will be added.

Reviews - Rake

The rake at Doyles Room is at the average of the industry. On limit tables up to $1/$2 there is a $1 max rake, on all other tables there is a max $3 rake. There is a "no flop - no drop" policy for hands not reaching the flop.

Reviews - Soft Competition

The competition is quite soft at Doyles Room, thanks to the clientele from other network partners such as Victor Chandler (online sports book) and Golden Palace (online casino). There are not many high stakes games though, so for players looking to make good hourly net profit, Doyles Rooms is quite OK, but not great.

Reviews - Sign-up Bonus

Doyle's Room is currently offering a real 50% signup bonus on your first deposit, up to an amazing $250! Deposit the full $500 and receive $250 plus a Free leatherbound collector's edition of Doyle Brunson's Super System 1 and 2.
