Hand History Analysis Using Software image

Hand History Analysis Using Software

At most poker rooms you can request hand histories for the hands you have played. This is useful in order to analyze both your own and your opponents' game.

It is also a great tool to check up on opponents hands on the river. Whenever there is a showdown (or it is checked around on the last round of betting) and someone who has called a bet then mucks (folds) his hand without showing, you can check the hand history for that particular hand and see what hand that player held.

Remember this feature as it will give you very useful information in order to learn quickly about what type of hands your opponents are playing and how they are playing them.

But the most useful information is probably your chance to review your own game by importing the hand history into any of the analysis tools available on the market. For reviews on various software go to Poker Software. With these tools you can track " leaks" in your game such as starting hands you are playing for a big net loss, as well as discovering if your betting patterns are not optimal.
